11 Useful Hints 4 Life

1.

It hurts to love someone and not be loved in return.
But what is more painful is to love someone and never
find the courage to let that person know how you feel.

2.

A sad thing in life is when you meet someone who
means a lot to you, only to find out in the end that it was
never meant to be and you just have to let go.

3.

The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a
porch swing with, never say a word, and then walk away
feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had.

4.

It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose
it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been
missing until it arrives.

5.

It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone, an
hour to like someone, and a day to love someone-but it
takes a lifetime to forget someone.

6.

Don't go for looks, they can deceive. Don't go for wealth,
even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you
smile because it takes only a smile to make a dark day
seem bright.

7.

Dream what you want to dream, go where you want to go,
be what you want to be. Because you have only one life and
one chance to do all the things you want to do.

8.

Always put yourself in the other's shoes. If you feel that it
hurts you, it probably hurts the person too.

9.

A careless word may kindle strife. A cruel word may wreck
a life. A timely word may level stress. But a loving word may
heal and bless.

10.

The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best
of everything they just make the most of everything that comes along their way.

11.

Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss, ends with
a tear. When you were born, you were crying and everyone
around you was smiling. Live your life so that when you die,
you're the one smiling and everyone around you is crying.

Steps to ensure that every day is a bright day!

Go to bed feeling good. Spend the last few moment reflecting on the good in your day and what makes you happy.
As you wake up, notice how you feel. Warm, comfortable, thankful for another day. Set the intention before you get out of bed to have a great day. Run through the day in your head (briefly) and dwell on positive outcomes. Notice how good you feel.
As you’re getting ready, play music that makes you happy. If you don’t want to wake others up, use your iPod or mp3 player. Avoid the news. Use Affirmations, preferably on a daily basis.
In your car, or set aside 15 minutes before you start work, repeat your affirmations. Even better if you can do it in front of a mirror. Repeat your affirmations through the day. (the goal is to reach 500 or 600 times).
During your commute, have inspirational audios…anything that will encourage growth AND make you feel good.
If you exercise or walk your dog, have positive music or audios playing.
Do what you can to maintain the good feelings through the day. If something comes along to ‘throw you out’ of happiness, give yourself a fix of positive energy. Have a ‘happiness toolkit’ ready or carry a small notebook full of your favourite quotes.
Before bed, review the day, focus on the good things that happened and spend the last few moments reflecting on what makes you happy and repeating your affirmation until you fall asleep.
The goal of this is to train your brain to focusing on the positive. As you do this, it gets easier. Don’t beat yourself up if it feels like hard work the first few days, but also don’t give up…keep going. Enlist the help of a friend or coach if you need help really mastering your negative mindset.
Those are the exact steps that I share with my VIP clients and participants from my Master Your Mindset program. And I KNOW it works, because I use this process myself, and every client who has incorporated it has been incredibly successful.
Do the work, it works. Promise.

Affirmation Tips

Using daily positive self esteem affirmations is a powerful technique for improving your life and your view of yourself. To get the most out of your affirmations follow these easy tips. Before you know it, you will have transformed yourself and your life to reflect your true inner radiance.

Say your affirmations out loud.
It's a well known Sound Healing concept that the power of spoken words are much stronger than just thinking affirmations or writing them down.

Say them in the morning and in the evening, every day.
Say them as often as you can, preferably at least three times a day. Repeatedly bringing your thoughts back to the power of positive thoughts will "reprogram" your thinking, so that you are vibrating in accordance with positive self esteem.

Pick an affirmation that really feels right for you.
If one on the list is almost perfect, but you want to change a word, do it! The effects will be strongest if you are in complete alignment with what you are saying.

Commit to trying out an affirmation for a minimum of three months.
It can take some time for the universe to catch up with your new feelings of self worth. Don't stop too soon! Ideally we all would say positive affirmations every single day.

Really allow yourself to "feel" your desired outcome.
Imagine improved self-confidence and how that will affect how others react towards you. Imagine respect, deeper friendships, or better relations at work. Whatever your goal for manifesting a higher self-image, allow yourself to feel the confidence as though you already have it. It will make your affirmations that much more powerful.

Use positive affirmations to change your life

Using Affirmations is a way to create positive change in your life, but just as important; they feel good to say.  Affirmations are one of the easiest, yet most overlooked meditations in the world.   I will once again refer to a little book called Creative Visualization by Shakti Gawain as the source of inspiration for this article. Definition:  “To affirm means ‘to make firm.’  An affirmation is a strong, positive statement that something is already so.  It is a way of ‘making firm’ that which you are imaging.”
Try saying my personal three affirmations in life, and see how they make you feel:
  • I am capable of anything and bound by nothing”“
  • I love like I have never been hurt, and work like I don’t need the money”
  • I strive for love, Seek knowledge, Find happiness, and Yield not to Fear”
They feel good to say, don’t they?  When we practice using affirmations, we replace the old bad programming that blocks us from moving forward in life.  Our mind defines us, whether we like it or not.  Filling it each day with positive affirmations will have an immediate impact on how we feel and think about our present situations.  It is such an easy practice contrary to the difficult meditations that push us to quiet our mind. Creating your own personal list of affirmations is a fun and positive exercise.
I suggest making the Affirmations as personal as possible, don’t simply rely on someone else’s list for your life, make your own and start today.
Shakti gives the following 7 tips for you to follow:
  1. Always phrase affirmations in the present tense, not in the future.”
  2. Always phrase affirmations in the most positive way that you can.”
  3. In general, the shorter and simpler the affirmation the more effective.”
  4. Always choose affirmations that feel totally right for you.”
  5. Always remember when doing affirmations that you are creating something new & fresh.”
  6. Affirmations are not meant to contradict or try to change your feelings or emotions.”
  7. When using affirmations, try as much as possible to create a feeling of belief, an experience that they can be true.”
Here are some great examples take from Creative Visualization to get you started:
  • I am dynamically self-expressive.”
  • It’s Okay for me to have everything I want!”
  • I feel happy and blissful just being alive.”
  • I am a radiant being, filled with light and love.”
  • I am an open channel of creative energy.”
  • The light within me is creating miracles in my life here and now.”
  • I love to love and be loved.”
  • Infinite riches are now freely flowing in my life.”
  • Everything I need is already within me.”
  • Abundance is a natural state of being.  I accept it now!”
  • I love and appreciate myself just as I am.” By Shakti Gawain
The present moment is all we have in life, so take this moment to write at least one affirmation to share with others in the comment section below.  Begin changing you inner-self with positive thoughts today.
