Poem; Dear Mom ♥

I went to a party, 

And remembered what you said.

You told me not to drink, Mom

So I had a sprite instead. 

I felt proud of myself,

The way you said I would,

That I didn't drink and drive, 

Though some friends said I should.

I made a healthy choice,

And your advice to me was right, 

The party finally ended,

And the kids drove out of sight.

I got into my car,

Sure to get home in one piece,

I never knew what was coming, Mom

Something I expected least. 

Now I'm lying on the pavement,

And I hear the policeman say,

The kid that caused this wreck was drunk,

Mom, his voice seems far away.

My own blood's all around me,

As I try hard not to cry.

I can hear the paramedic say,

This girl is going to die.

I'm sure the guy had no idea,

While he was flying high,

Because he chose to drink and drive,

Now I would have to die. 

So why do people do it, Mom

Knowing that it ruins lives?

And now the pain is cutting me,

Like a hundred stabbing knives. 

Tell sister not to be afraid,

Tell daddy to be brave,

And when I go to heaven, 

Put Daddy's Girl on my grave.

Someone should have taught him, 

That its wrong to drink and drive.

Maybe if his parents had,

I'd still be alive. 

My breath is getting shorter, Mom

I'm getting really scared. 

These are my final moments,

And I'm so unprepared.

I wish that you could hold me Mom,

As I lie here and die.

I wish that I could say, "I love you, Mom!"

So I love you and good-bye.

I love you Mom!

Lovely Family Affirmations

I am creating a home full of joy and peace.

I am blessed with a beautiful and supportive family

My family suports me no matter what

I am loved and lovable

I successfully plan and provide for my child's future

I nurture my family and friends with love, kindness, patience and understanding

My family and friends value and respect me for what I am

Me and my family are God's beloved children

My home is always filled with joy, peace, and love

I am a good mother and wife

I am open and affectionate to my family and friends

I have a happy and protected family filled with health and love

I have an awesome family whom I love very much

I look forward to time with my child

I am a source of love and inspiration for my family and friends

Poem: To my Mother, my Friend

I don't think I ever told you,
how much I appreciate the things you do.
You have been there when I cried,
and always known when I've lied.
You taught me how to read and sing,
and punished me when I did the wrong thing.
You were there to tell me goodnight,
and always knew how to make things all right.
I look up to you, Mom,and I love you very much.
I don't know what it would be likewithout your loving touch.
You will always come first in my heart,
no matter how far we are apart.
Mom, I have not told you,
I don't know where I've been.
You're not only just my mother,
you're forever my best friend.

You Gave So Much To Me

Mom and Dad, I wonder if

You know how much I care.

I got the good things, all I have,

Because you both were there.

I thank you for the time you spent,

Doing all you did.

You help me now; you helped me then

When I was just a kid.

Unselfish, giving, loving, more...

You gave so much to me.

Without you, Mom and Dad, I don’t

Know what on earth I’d be.

Thank you for the way you are,

Like angels from above;

I thank you both for everything,

And give you all my love.
